riding the bus, is more fun than riding a bike in the rain...

so i took the long way home....it's not my fault...it's the way things are done in eureka....i love the transit system here, and the drivers are all super friendly, considerate and helpful...i had a great time getting to winco...i had two options....one to walk out my door, cross the street and wait for the purple route, or i could walk four blocks...that's right four blocks...to the red route which would take the more direct route to winco...i gotta tell you, timing is everything....as i was getting ready to walk the four blocks, in the rain...okay drizzle...but still, the purple bus arrived...it was great...i felt like a kid on christmas morning...i mean considering the fact that it has been forever since i lived in the city, and had easy access to public transportation...four miles on a bike to catch the bus to get to the outskirts of the city, so i rode all the way to henderson center, transferred to the gold route, and than had to pass the stop i would have been standing in the rain waiting for said bus at, well...you get the picture...don't you?  on the way home i missed the red bus which would have connected me back to the purple bus...but see i had to use the facilities, which caused me to miss my bus...oh bummer....again, it was awesome, cause i caught the green bus, which took me for a ride all around the town, and we met up with the purple bus, and i was able to take that one home...oh oh and here's the really cool part...no really..it's the greatest...it was raining...and i not once got wet...i got off the purple bus in front of my door...that's right...back from shopping laden with heavy bags and all i had to do was get off the bus, walk up the steps to my front door...omg...how cool is that, i ask ya......

tomorrow is the big day...i will be busier than a beaver building a damn in a storm....going to a course in miracles in the morning at unity...after which, i will come home hang out with the man for a bit...a run up to D.U.H.C....to start my volunteering.....phew....
eeek and yikes i am excited and nervous...not really sure how i want to help this organization, but i know i do....they have some solid ideas and have been doing a lot of good here in the community....so we shall see where this leads me....

wasted exhausted...and all i did was ride the short bus....

peace and blessings...hugs and love

"be good to a friend of mine....YOU!"
